About the project
OccO is a hard thing to put on a homepage: it's a hotel, a restaurant, a bar with a terrace over the water, a marina with 125+ berths, and an event venue all at the same spot in Klein-Willebroek. Each one is a complete business in its own right, with its own audience. A couple booking a room, a boat owner looking for a mooring, and a company planning an offsite are three very different visitors arriving on the same site.
The challenge
The risk with a place like this is that it reads as a list, a bit of everything, master of none. The site needed to make OccO feel like one destination with four ways in, not four businesses sharing a logo.
So the homepage leads with the thing they all share: the water, the calm, the location. From there, four clear doors — hotel, restaurant, haven, zalen — each opening into its own dedicated section with its own booking or contact path (room bookings, table reservations, berth and event enquiries). Real guest reviews and the practical details — opening hours, location, free parking — do the trust-building underneath. Whatever reason you came for, you find it fast, and you leave understanding the whole place.
The result
The result is a site that turns a complicated, four-in-one venue into a single, legible destination — an oasis at the water that happens to do four things very well.
